This track is pretty epic, but in a more upbeat way compared to the previous ones. There's something about the melody and vocal chops that makes it loop back to Voidborn as well. I was hoping to make something epic with a name like Darkeater. Having two epic tracks follow each other felt like a bit too much so I decided to use some jazzy-ish chords to bring the album to a close. The ending piano is the exact same I used in Welcome to the Darkside, to bring this album back to where it started. In fact, that same piano gets brought up a couple of times. I dedicate this song to my bros on the the skype convo.
